1. What Daily Desk Studio is

Daily Desk Studio ("the App") is a desktop application that the channel owner runs on their own computer. Its web interface is served only on that computer (127.0.0.1) and is not reachable from the internet. The App prepares news videos and, only after the owner approves each video, uploads it to the owner's own YouTube channel.

2. YouTube API Services

The App uses the YouTube API Services to upload videos. By using the App you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

3. Information the App accesses

When you connect a YouTube channel with Google sign-in, the App requests the scopes youtube.upload and youtube and uses them only to:

• read the ID and title of the channel you selected (channels.list), so the App can show which channel is connected;
• list your playlists (playlists.list) when you press "재생목록 보기", so you can choose where videos go;
• upload a video you approved as a private, scheduled video (videos.insert), set its thumbnail (thumbnails.set) and add it to the playlist you chose (playlistItems.insert);
• keep an uploaded video private if you cancel it before its publish time (videos.list, videos.update).

The App does not read your subscribers, comments, analytics, watch history or any other channel data, and it does not act on any channel other than the one you connected.

4. What is stored, where, and for how long

• Storage location: everything is stored only on the owner's own computer, in the App's local folder. The operator runs no server that receives your data.
• OAuth tokens: stored locally for as long as the channel stays connected, and used only for the actions listed above.
• Channel ID and title: stored locally and refreshed from YouTube every day. The daily check also confirms the authorization is still valid.
• Video IDs of uploaded videos: stored locally so you can cancel a scheduled video, and deleted automatically 29 days after upload.
• Playlist lists are shown on screen and not stored.
• Application log files, which can contain video IDs, are deleted after 25 days.

5. How information is used and shared

YouTube API data is used only to show you what is connected and to carry out the uploads you approve. It is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or analytics. The App uses AI services to prepare videos (Anthropic Claude for scripts, a text-to-speech service for narration, Google Gemini for background images). These services receive only public news text and the generated scripts and prompts; they receive no YouTube API data and no tokens.

6. Cookies

The App's local web interface uses one session cookie on 127.0.0.1 to show messages after a button is pressed. It does not use tracking cookies, advertising identifiers or third-party analytics, and it does not collect device information.

7. Revoking access and deleting your data

• In the App, press "연결 해제하고 YouTube 데이터 삭제" on the channel settings page. The App immediately revokes its access token at Google and deletes the stored tokens, channel ID/title and video IDs.
• You can also revoke the App's access at any time on the Google security settings page. The App detects this in its daily check and deletes all stored YouTube data within 30 days, normally within one day.
• To ask for deletion of any stored data, contact jsahn32@gmail.com. It will be deleted within 7 days. Deleting data from the App does not delete videos already published on YouTube; those can be managed in YouTube Studio.
