Daily Desk Studio

A desktop tool for a small group of topic news channels on YouTube. It prepares briefing videos from public news, and the channel owner reviews and approves every video before it is uploaded.

What it does

1. Collects public news from official blogs and news RSS feeds of each channel's topic, respecting robots.txt.
2. Drafts a script with AI, checks it against the sources, and writes a suggested title, description and tags.
3. Makes the video: synthesized narration, subtitles, simple motion graphics and a thumbnail.
4. Asks the owner to review it. The owner watches the video and can edit the title, description, tags, publish time and the "made for kids" and "altered or synthetic content" answers.
5. Uploads only after approval. When the owner approves a video, the tool uploads it to the owner's own channel through the YouTube Data API as a private video scheduled for the chosen time. The owner can cancel it before that time.

How it uses YouTube

• The owner connects their own channel with Google sign-in. The tool never uploads to channels it was not connected to.
• API calls used: channels.list, playlists.list, videos.insert, thumbnails.set, playlistItems.insert, videos.list, videos.update.
• No automatic uploads: nothing is uploaded until the owner approves that specific video.
• Data stays on the owner's computer; video IDs are deleted after 29 days. See the Privacy Policy.

Who it is for

Daily Desk Studio is an internal tool run by Ahn Jaeseok for their own channels. It runs locally on the operator's computer and is not offered as a public online service.
